Horse & Nature Therapy

Horses possess a remarkable ability to forge deep bonds with humans, offering genuine affection and unconditional love. They live entirely in the present moment, not dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. They accept people regardless of appearance or attire, remaining non-judgmental and free from grudges. Unlike humans, they don't change rules or communicate through words to cause confusion.

Horse Therapy

For many, animals provide a sense of safety that can surpass that felt around people. Spending time with horses can nurture empathy and caring qualities - even in individuals with hardened hearts - while also helping to lower blood pressure, slow the heart rate, and alleviate anxiety.

Being around horses teaches valuable lessons about relationships and effective communication. It offers an alternative form of support that can feel less overwhelming than traditional counselling. Horses reflect our emotions without criticism; they sense how we feel and respond instantly. Living in the moment, they do not hold grudges or tell lies, encouraging us to express ourselves through both words and body language. Their presence fosters mutual respect and trust.

Interacting with horses requires focus and keen observation, fostering skills that can boost confidence and self-esteem. The act of caring for such a majestic creature can be empowering, promoting personal growth. Additionally, the affectionate touch and grooming with horses have been shown to have therapeutic benefits, especially in relieving anxiety and depression.
